Carmel Stephens

Biography

She worked for six years on RTE’s flagship soap, Fair City, as Ger Creagh and two years on the Irish language soap, Ros Na Run. 

She was a founding member of the theatre company Inis Theatre and co-wrote and appeared in most of its shows and sharing the Best Actress award with another company member in the  Dublin Fringe. 

She has fifteen years experience as a dubbing artist, voicing cartoons into Irish. Carmel’s badge of honour is being the Irish language voice of Sandy Cheeks in the SpongeBob Squarepants, TV shows and movies.
