A college student who’s celebrating the Hungry Ghost Festival with her family. While she’s out, she’s unsure about inviting her girlfriend, Allie, to the feast. When Maxine invites Maya to the feast, Allie gets upset, but Maxine tells Allie that she shouldn’t waste time hiding who she is and what matters more is that Allie is happy. Allie goes through with this and introduces Maya as her girlfriend to her family, which ends up way better than she expected.
