Bárbara Aires

Biography

Bárbara Aires is a Brazilian trans woman, gender and sexuality consultant, and actress. She has been working as a trans activist of the organized LGBT movement since 2007. She was the first trans producer on the Globo television network, acting as a consultant for the Amor & Sexo program. She provided consultancy for the series Quem Sou Eu, by Fantástico and for the two seasons of the GNT Gender Freedom series, among others. She worked as Parliamentary Advisor to the then councilor, Federal Deputy David Miranda (PSOL).
