Brittany Marie Batchelder

Biography

Brittany Batchelder is an actress, model, entrepreneur, and a star on the rise. She was born in Detroit, Michigan where she began a career in modeling at the very young age of three. During which she landed national and local print campaigns alongside her mother & older sister. Equipped with her experience in modeling and a very vivid imagination, Brittany knew early on she wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Upon her fathers job being relocated to Houston, Texas, Brittany began to explore different genres of art including theatre and dance. After graduating high school, Brittany began training locally at The Kim Terry Studios. She was granted the opportunity to visit Los Angeles, CA after successfully performing for agents and talent scouts at the studios yearly showcase.

After arriving in Los Angeles she continued to develop her craft by studying at Margie Haber Studios, Stan Kirsch Studios, BGB Studios and The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. After which she tested for her first series and also booked her first independent film, which granted her entry into the Screen Actors Guild. Since this time Brittany has tested for two other series and has starred as a recurring guest star on Suburgatory and most recently The Alienist on TNT.

She can be seen playing the role of Joanna Crawford on The Alienists’ highly anticipated second season which is titled the “The Angel of Darkness” premiering this summer. Brittany firmly believes in the power of giving back and adding value to her fellow artists and wanted to create a movement that would marry her passion and her purpose. So in 2016 she created M.P.A.C.T which is an acronym for More Positive Artists Coming Together. With the help of her business partner they have created and produced over 15 successful events. Their short film showcase which highlights the work of women filmmakers has become their most celebrated event. M.P.A.C.T has also created jobs for artists as well as awarded female filmmakers with production grants. Brittany is represented by AKA Talent Agency and Protege Entertainment.
