Eiry Thomas

Biography

Eiry Thomas is an actress, known for The Bench (2001), Torchwood (2006) and Rillington Place (2016).

On S4C, she has featured in the Con Passionate, Family, Lan and Lawr and Live Celody drama series. She played one of the main parts in the ambitious series of the Talar Peninsula. She won the Best Actress award by BAFTA Cymru for her part in the Cwcw Welsh film (2008).

In English, she has played major parts in The Indian Doctor, Belonging and The Bench and guest parts in Eastenders, Torchwood and Stella. In 2003, she won the Best Actress award by BAFTA Cymru for her part in the BBC Cymru The Bench play .

She is one of the founders of The Pena Theater, which creates opportunities for women in the theater and produces classic and modern dramas.
