Emily Scott

Biography

Emily is a film/theatre actress and writer based in the Bay Area. Though her background is in theatre, Emily has worked on several features, most notably A Kind of Murder, starring Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel, in which she played Martha. She has performed in many short films, most recently Popped and Carrier 3, both of which won the Audience Choice Award of their respective challenges at the San Jose International Short Film Festival.

Emily relocated to the Bay Area to pursue theatre and film in 2015. Since then, she has worked on many short films and web series in the area, including some work written and directed by herself. She was cast in a featured role in the Amazon pilot Budding Prospects and was signed by Tonry Talent, a Bay Area acting agency. Emily also serves as the creator, writer, show runner, and lead actress of Represent, a new comedy web series about women in the film industry
