Biography

Joanne Nail was born in Spokane, Washington, USA as Joanne Elizabeth Nail. She is an actress, known for Switchblade Sisters (1975), The Gumball Rally (1976) and The Visitor (1979). She has been married to Joseph Cornelius Gallagher since May 7, 1988.

Joanne retired from acting after marrying Harvard Law School graduate Joseph Gallagher, who served as president of Industrial Light & Magic, executive assistant to the president of Universal Studios, and corporate VP of 20th-Century Fox. As of 2016, he is Senior Advisor and Interim Director of Fuller Theological Seminary’s Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, and the Arts in Pasadena, CA. They reside in Los Angeles.
