Biography

Laketa Awls is an actress and producer, known for Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks (2018), Lovers and Friends L.A (2017) and Snowfall (2017).

Laketa Awls was born in Toledo, Ohio then relocated to Las Vegas Nevada with family. Where then Laketa Awls started to take great interest in people and being active. Being the spontaneous caring person that she is she decided to join a youth group of the Zeta Phi Beta organization known as the Archonettes which later led her to start her own empowering organization called Xsquizit.    

After high school Laketa decided to venture off to college in Atlanta Georgia to attend Clark Atlanta University and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Theatre Arts, but before graduation Laketa Awls interned for an Atlanta Models and Talent agency and was signed by them at the end of her course.

Laketa Awls also played Mya a very popular character of the web series T.R.A.D.E IT ALL. She then later linked into Tyler Perry Studios where she worked with the lovely cast of Love Thy Neighbor! Laketa decided shortly after that she wanted to move to California to pursue her dreams of professional acting.
