Sophie Mercer is an English Actress best known for her portrayal as the lesbian mechanic ‘Alice Reynolds’ is Scottish BBC soap River City.

Born at Royal Oldham hospital on 30th November 1989 to Mother Jem Mercer and Father Andrew Mercer. She is the youngest of 5 children.

Aswell as being an Actress Sophie is also a keen screen writer and poet. Completing a feature film ‘Keeping Secrets’ , a six part northern based drama ‘Chasing Smoke’ as well as many other short films.
