Biography
Victoria Mack is an actress, coach, writer and teacher who has been working as a theatre professional for over 15 years. She received her MFA in Acting from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she was awarded Tony Kushner’s Sylvia Kushner Memorial Award for Excellence. Her BA is from Columbia University’s Barnard College, where she majored in English Literature and minored in Film Studies, graduating magna cum laude with senior honors.
She’s had the privilege of an extremely varied career, having worked in theatre, film and television. She’s performed some of classical theatre’s greatest roles, including Rosalind, Eliza Doolittle, Desdemona and Lady Macbeth; as well as work-shopped and performed new plays with some of the best contemporary writers, including two world premieres by Theresa Rebeck and the Broadway production of David Ives’ Venus in Fur.
Victoria comes from a family of educators and has actively sought teaching and coaching opportunities throughout her professional career. In 2016 she decided to make teaching her primary professional focus.
She is a member of Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA and has received her BPSS New York State Teaching Certificate. In 2016 she joined the National Alliance of Acting Teachers alongside such educators as Hugh O’Gorman (Cal-State Long Beach), Peter Jay Fernandez (The New School), Benny Sato Ambush (Emerson College), and Ron Van Lieu (Yale University).
Victoria currently lives in Savannah with her husband, dog Charlie, and cat Kali.
