As a baby, Abril was ripped from the arms of her father and thrown onto the ground by a soldier, Owen Ripley, who then murdered him. She survived, and grew up consumed with finding and exacting revenge against Ripley.
She was the Chief of Security for Sandra de La Cruz, who was shot and killed, and took over the cartel.
She managed to kill Ripley before she, herself, was shot by the FBI.
