Mother of pregnant Amy, she's initially married to George but they divorce and then it gets even weirder. Amy starts dating her boss and they get engaged only for her to find out she's pregnant. The baby is her ex-husband's, who lied about a vasectomy, and while they dance around getting back together, Anne figures out she's a lesbian after a trip to Europe and marries someone off camera.
