Crazy Jane, or simply Jane, is the former host of Kay Challis, a young girl who first developed DID (dissociative identity disorder) after being physically, emotionally, and sexually attacked by her father, eventually among others. Just like her predecessor Miranda, Jane's purpose is to maintain equilibrium in the Underground, where Kay's other alters reside.
Jane has control over Kay's body most of the time until another alter manifests when they feel they are needed. Upon being saved by Niles, Jane began living in Doom Manor and regarded Niles as a father.
