Dre is a foster kid who becomes equally obsessed with her sister, Marisa, and their favorite pop star, Ni'Jah. After Marisa's death, she becomes emotionally unhinged and goes on a killing spree.
In the last episode, Dre goes by Tony and presents much more masculine than she had in the past. No pronouns are used in the show and it's unclear whether Toni is just a new identity to evade the police. However, the show creators said that Toni is actually the most free and grounded version of Dre.
