A scientist who 'created' Two (aka Rebecca). Irena didn't see the difference between Rebecca and any other person, and they developed a "close personal relationship." Dying of a tumor, Irena is put into stasis, only for Two to wake her up and buy her more time with nanites 2.0. Sadly, Irena loved Rebecca and not Two, who very much is not who she was. While she still cares for Two deeply, they are only friends.
