An inmate at a women's penitentiary in Toronto. Part of her sentence is serving as a maid for the prison warden.
She and the warden's daughter are in love, and plan a forgery of her release in order to escape together.
As she had nothing to do with the murder of the warden, she is issued a lighter sentence, but still has to serve time for her part in the fraudulent pardon.
