Beckett Mariner's frenemy. A fellow redshirt on the command track, Sh'reyan is more or less the opposite of Mariner, and the two are regularly at odds until she saves Mariner's life. After that, they admit they're in to each other and start dating. Just in time for Mariner's mom to be arrested.
They break up a while later, and Jennifer transfers to the Manitoba.
