Julie is a resourceful and determined private investigator based in San Francisco, California. When tasked with recovering a stolen necklace from a nursing home, she devises a plan to infiltrate the facility by hiring an elderly, tech-savvy accomplice. Julie interviews and hires Charles in the end, who agrees to go into the nursing home to help. Julie takes on the role of mentor and strategist, training Charles for his undercover mission while helping him deal with his own complicated struggles.
