After Luke underwent a botched circumcision, the boys' parents, unbeknownst to either of the twins, had Luke undergo surgeries to help him switch genders to become Lindsay Stanton.
When he finds out, he decides to switch back to his original gender.
Note: In the episode, Luke is called Lindsay for the majority, however since his choice is to be Luke, we use that here.
