A floor nurse, she met her wife when Naveen had an emergency appendectomy. Sadly this surgery left a towel in Naveen, who is upset and blames Luna, even though it wasn't her responsibility.
When Naveen needs life-saving surgery, Luna choses the less risky option and saves Naveen's life, but sacrifices her uterus.
The outcome of this on their relationship is difficult, but when Luna explains she did it because she loves Naveen, and her job (as wife) is to protect Naveen, things look promising.
