Magda, a supernatural demon who can take the form of anyone she chooses. Magda's personas include political aide Alex Malone, housewife Elsa Branson (and her son Frank), and queer gang leader Rio.
As Rio, Magda is a queer gang leader of the pachucos who is part of the counter culture movement during the times. Both referred to with they/them and she/her pronouns, Rio dresses in more masculine attire as well, with tailored zoot suits and make-up that leans toward an androgynous, gender-bending style.
