Marta de la Reina is Damián's second daughter , she is between Jesús and Andrés, who do not quite get along. She is married to Jaime Berenguer, who spends long periods away from home working as a doctor on a merchant ship. Marta hides a secret that explains the coldness of her marriage.
When the show begins Marta is working as the commercial director and manager of the store. She works side by side with her brother, Jesus. However, most of her day is spent with the girls who work in the factory, who call her Doña Marta.
