Stunning, athletic and highly intelligent, Mel is a “genetically enhanced” cadet from the Genetic Space Program who is hand-chosen as D’Branin’s first officer aboard the Nightflyer mission. She is fiercely loyal to D’Branin but finds competition for her loyalties when she captures the eye of Eris.
Melantha and Lommie enter a casual relationship but they end things a few epsoides later.
