Nico was born to Tina and Robert Minoru in 2001 in Los Angeles, California, but her mother died during an early point in Nico's life. Nico later got accepted to Midtown High of Science and Technology in New York City, where she lived with a foster family.
She became friends with Peter Parker after he was bitten by the spider, but didn't know about the powers for a few months.
Both she and Peter wanted to ask out Pearl.
