The granddaughter of a patient.
She is a sports teacher at the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium. Miriam and Rieke met in the emergency room of the Sachsenklinik when Rieke was there with her grandmother. They were attracted right away, but Rieke was still in a relationship with her long-time girlfriend Alex. When this relationship ended, Miriam and Rieke became a couple.
