They're caught making out in Blaire's room. At first, the Bennett family — especially John’s dad, Matty — aren’t especially welcoming. Both Matty and John’s mom, Susan, make offensive comments about Sarah’s Indian heritage, with Matty talking disparagingly about Indian food and then later getting in a debate about immigrants.
Things more or less work out, seeing as it's Christmas.
