One of the dancers at Show Land who also has addiction issues. After Shay passes out during a shift, Irene takes her to the hospital and pays for her to be in rehab for 28 days. After rehab she lives with Irene as her girlfriend for a period of time. Soon after that she leaves Irene and succumbs to addiction again.
In the 1985 time jump we see Shay sick and she dies in the hospital probably from AIDS-related illnesses.
