Sister Harriet, born Rebekah Kreutzer, was a Kindertransport refugee during World War ll. She was sent to a Catholic convent in the United Kingdom along with other Jewish refugee children, where they were made to convert to Christianity. In her adulthood, she was recruited and trained to become Mi6 agents. She was from Germany originally, and her real name was Rebekah, and she’s Jewish. And when she was a kid living under the Nazis, her parents shipped her off to, apparently, a monastery in Britain, where she was given the name Harriet by her new caretaker, Sister Colin, and presumably became a nun.
