She learns not to take anything for granted. Having just been promoted to the professional Canadian tennis team’s training team, she’s been traveling extensively. Her absences make her feel guilty about Sam, who is recovering from breast cancer. She is an activist for LGBT + rights and a fervent advocate for wildlife and the environment.
