Overview
A tale of the bungling of Armageddon features an angel, a demon, an eleven-year-old Antichrist, and a doom-saying witch.
It’s incredibly irreverent, goofy, and fun.
Queer Plotline Timeline
All angels (and demons) are without gender or gender identity. Some are considered to be Gender Fluid per show creator, Neil Gaiman [source].
In the case of Pollution, Gaiman was asked outright if they were non-binary, and replied “Yes.” [source]
Season two includes a lesbian romance as a human reflection of the relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley, however the angel/demon relationship ends on a difficult cliffhanger. Crowley professes his love, while Aziraphale choses to return to heaven.
Since season three was impacted by the 2023 WGA and SAG/AFTRA strikes, we are currently marking it as a tragic ending, in the hopes that season three provides a happier one.
