Biography

Based in North Hollywood, California, and originally from Lakeland, Florida – where she was raised by a pack of rednecks. They did all the usual stuff – hunting, fishing, mudslingin’, and, of course, dipping chewing tobacco.

After earning two BFA’s at Florida Southern College and delving into Classical Theatre in England, she hit the road in my ’99 Ford F-150, crossing the country to become what her family lovingly calls a “know-it-all lesbian” in the land of “cocaine & glitter.” Tyer is the Co-Founder to the Wanna Make A Movie Collective, a Drag King named Woody Banger, transformation enthusiast, and a crafty self starter in all things.

In the world of storytelling, she finds joy in creating projects about queer folk, social clashes, cowboys, and badass women. Her favorite thing about set life, aside from the snacks, is the exhilarating experience of playing with other brilliant actors and getting to call it work.
