Overview
The series follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson was raised in New York City with her twin brother Connor by their loving adoptive father Steven, but Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets. Annie immediately starts asking questions when her grandfather’s will reveals land in Canada, but her father doesn’t answer beyond the bare minimum. Thus, she journeys to the mysterious island she has just learned about and meets not only some new friends but a sister of sorts in Ramona. Annie’s overeagerness clashes with Ramona’s hostility, even though the two very different personalities will have to share their grandfather’s cottage for the time being.
