Biography

Ann Carr is an actress/writer/director based in New York City and perform regularly at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in the politically driven sketch show The Swamp and as Kellyanne in The Kellyanne Show.

You can see her as Jean in the critically-acclaimed indie feature Women Who Kill, written and directed by and starring Ingrid Jungermann.

Her other work includes: Gail in all three seasons of Red Oaks, Wanda in Louis C.K.’s series Horace and Pete, Paolo Sorrentino’s HBO miniseries The Young Pope, the SXSW award winning feature film Fort Tilden and Louie (FX).

She co-write the web series The Actress with her husband Warren Holstein. The Actress screened at the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival in 2014 and has received glowing write-ups in The New York Observer, The Boston Globe, Bust Magazine, Time Out, Indiewire, Splitsider and The Huffington Post.
