Godenir is a multi-disciplinary artist born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her roots are Chinese, Belgian, and Ukrainian. She started dancing at the age of two, where her passion for performance first presented itself.
It was Godenir’s dedication to classical theatre that eventually led her to the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada, where she graduated in 2020. Over the three-year program, she had the opportunity to study and perform an array of theatrical styles. Some of her favorite plays she starred in include Burning Vision, Nell Gwynn, and Romeo and Juliet, where she starred as the title character, Juliet.
Godenir currently lives in Toronto but travels back to Winnipeg often to see her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Mila, and her awesome Pomeranian, Romulus.
