Cihang Ma

Biography

A Chinese-Canadian actor based in Toronto. Having immigrated to Canada at the age of eight, they speak and perform in both English and Mandarin.

Cihang’s performing journey began with intensive training in live improv and sketch comedy. After stand-out performances in the Second City Bob Curry Diversity Fellowship (2019), and their Second City Sketch Conservatory show, ‘Carpe Into My DMs’ (Winner of Best of the Fest at the Toronto Fringe 2019), they received the Tim Sims Encouragement Award (Second City, 2019). In 2020, they expanded their work into TV/film, animation voice-over, and independent film.
