Claire Gagnon-King

Biography

Claire was born in Toronto, ON, in a room that overlooked the Parliamentary offices, which caused her mother to believe she would be destined for great things. Instead of becoming a superhero, she has been acting since the tender age of ten when she first discovered the magic of Shakespeare and would perform one-act versions of his plays by herself during recess. Claire has since pursued a career in acting by working in various community plays as well as student films.

In 2013, she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University’s Theatre Program. She has also recently graduated from Humber College’s Acting For Film and Television Conservatory program (with honours).

With a Quebecois background, she is completely fluent in French and has been known to forget common English words and substitute them with the French ones by accident. Claire has a passion for painting, comic books, writing, and the outdoors. She hopes to one day speak on a panel at Comic-Con for a television series or film.
