Comika Hartford began her career writing and performing onstage at the historic LORRAINE HANSBERRY THEATER in San Francisco with Rhodessa Jones’ Cultural Odyssey before graduating from Emerson College in Boston with a B.F.A. in Theater. She is a staff writer on the animated series RIP SMART currently in development, and is the creator of the horror web series THE GREY AREA. Her short film BANGO is streaming on Amazon and is part of a larger psychological thriller anthology. Comika has also worked extensively with the national non-profit organization Community Works supporting Art & Social Change program and directed their Creative Writing Program in the San Francisco Jail System, WRITING ON WALLS: Storytelling in the Digital Age.
