A nomadic Persian, born in Greece, relocated to Canada as a young child. Donia completed the Acting for Stage and Screen Program at Capilano University where they started their breakout role as Gollum in a production of The Hobbit.
Recently, Donia has performed in shows like “The 100”, “Snowpiercer”, and the 2021 show “Debris”. Also, this non-binary actor is taking film festivals by storm. Acting in an indie feature “Fall Back Down” which has won an Award at L.A. Punk Film Festival. And two Short films that are making waves are various film festivals “Asal (winner of best performance)” and “The Quieting”.
In an interview with Diva Magazine, Donia said, “Being an agender person of colour has helped me fall in love with being a character actor.”
