Biography

Elaine Claxton is a familiar face from TV, well-known for her roles in Delicious, Emmerdale, The Coroner, Doc Martin, Wire in the Blood and the Mrs Bradley Mysteries. 

In addition to her TV work Elaine has worked in film (The Death of Stalin), theatre, radio drama and audiobook narration. 

Elaine has been a member of the National Theatre for several seasons and has been a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company three times. She is currently a familiar voice on Radio Four’s Home Front.
