Emily Miller

Biography

Emily Janice Miller is a Jersey girl born and raised. She has been involved in theater ever since she was cast as Annie in the second grade and realized that people will applaud you for playing pretend. After training in dance, gymnastics, acting, and modeling, she attended high school at the Academy for Visual & Performing Arts in Denville, NJ where she concentrated in Multimedia and Film Studies and minored in Theater.

In 2010, she enrolled at Drew University in Madison, NJ, where she double majored in Theatre Arts and History and minored in European Studies. She graduated in May 2014 Cum Laude, and throughout her four years at Drew, she performed as an actor as well as working as a dramaturg and director.

She has lived and studied internationally in the United Kingdom, concentrating on studying Shakespeare and British History. She has interned at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Tada! Youth Theater Company and The Pearl Theatre Company which has helped me develop a love and passion for classical work.
