Ghazal (غزال) is an award winning actor born in Mashhad, Iran and raised on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) people. She is eternally grateful to live, work, and play on these ancestral lands.
A graduate of the UBC BFA program and the Soulpepper Academy, Ghazal has performed on stages across Canada, primarily between Tkaronto and what we call Vancouver.
Ghazal is devoted to the art of storytelling in whatever form it takes. Whether it’s stage, camera, writing, singing, moving, or simply conversing, there is no greater joy for Ghazal than the art of creating and sharing stories.
