
Biography
Kaia Varjord is an actress, known for 90 Minutes (2012), Hjem (2012) and Åse Tonight (2011).
Varjord left the theater college in the spring of 2005, and made his debut as an actor at the Torshov Theater. In August and September 2005, she was to be seen in Arne Lygrees piece Mann without intent, along with among others Trond Espen Seim, Jon Øigarden and Petronella Barker, and later in 2006 in the Torshov Theater’s performance Orgy.
In the spring of 2006 she toured Norway with Riksteatret’s performance Henrik and Emilie by Niels Fredrik Dahl. She later also had the role of Clara Ebbel in NRK’s TV series An immortal man about the young Henrik Ibsen.
She film-debuted in 2012 with the film 90 minutes, where she played against, among others, Aksel Hennie.
In 2012 and 2013, she played one of three main roles, as a turbulent world champion in skiing, in the TV series Home at NRK. Kaia Karianne Kvernebo played in DAY 2 and DAY 3 with Atle Antonsen. And played in the TV series Hvaler who went on TV2
