Kasia Borek

Biography

Borek was known in Germany in 2010 by the broadcast on Sat 1 soap opera Hand aufs Herz, in which she played until the end of the series in September 2011, the role of the student Emma Müller.

Borek first appeared in front of the camera in 1994 at the children’s program Vampy on RTL 2, which she presented for two years. In 2004 she began her acting studies at the Film Academy Łódź, which she graduated in 2008 with a Masters degree.

From 2005 to 2007 followed the first roles in short films of the Film Academy Łódź. In 2008, she was with the film Afonia and the bees (Afonia i pszczoły) to see for the first time in Polish cinemas, followed in 2009, the films Jürgensplatz, The evil uncle, directed by Urs Odermatt, Felines Hirsch and man without a dog.

From October 2011 to April 2012 she appeared on Sat.1 in the Telenovela Anna and love in the role Olivia “Liv” Kosmar. Kasia received for her role as “Emma Müller” in the heart of the 2012 German Soap Award in the category “Fanpreis Weiblich “.
