Katie Michels

Biography

Katie Michels is an actress based in sunny Los Angeles California. She has been seen recurring on IFC’s Portlandia, Grimm on NBC, and will be Guest Starring in an upcoming episode of The Librarians on TNT. Classically trained in theater, Katie has appeared in numerous plays and live shows, and performs sketch monthly on the iO West mainstage team June’s Cleaver. She also appears regularly on the indie Web Series The Benefits of Gusbandtry.

Katie Michels was raised in small town Winthrop, Washington the only girl of five children. At the age of 11 she moved to Seattle to study acting at Studio East Training for the Performing Arts, before attended Washington State University, where she graduated ‘Outstanding Graduating Senior in Theatre Arts’.
