Born in Brooklyn, New York, Latarsha is best known for her role as Portia in the 2012 film The Hunger Games. She attended Georgetown University where she performed in a number of Theater productions.
She has appeared in several procedurals including S.W.A.T, CSI, Law and Order, and Bone. She also starred as Dr. Lisa Hudson on the BET television series Being Mary Jane
