Biography

Marina San José was born in Madrid, Spain as Marina San José Cuesta. She is an actress, known for Amar en tiempos revueltos (2005), De chica en chica (2015) and Between Your Legs (1999).

Although she wanted to be a veterinarian, when finishing high school she enrolled in the William Layton Laboratory, an acting school in the capital of Spain. There she also studied singing and dancing.

Herrise to fame came between 2008 and 2010, when she starred in the fourth and fifth seasons of the TVE series Amar en tiempos revueltos. Marina played Ana who falls in love with her best friend love with Teresa. In her role in this series, Marina was nominated for the Actors Union Award for the best supporting actress on television
