Biography

Mona is a recent graduate from Emerson College with a BFA in Acting. At Emerson, Mona was able to cultivate her passion for art and activism where she served as president of the Asian student union as well as performed and served on the board of Flawless Brown, a women of color artists collective.

In 2017, Mona was a part of the Core Company apprenticeship with The Orchard Project in Saratoga Springs, NY where she worked with musician Esperanza Spalding and assistant directed for Kathy Najimy. She also was mentored by Core Company Director Sherri Eden Barber on her play Nia resulting in a staged reading with Core Company members.

Mona recently moved to NYC this fall and is the current Global Exchange Apprentice at The Lark where she can further hone her passion for equity, access and inclusion!
