Rose Amer

Biography

Rose Amer is a New Yorker currently living in Chicago. In 2016, she graduated from Northwestern University where she got my BA in English Literature and Film Studies. 

She is also a graduate of the Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago, and CiC improv programs, an actor/improviser, an occasional writer of things, and a person around town. She writes and performs with her beloved and psycho Rosemary’s Other Baby, who have done everything from a Halloween-themed game show, to a full-length farce, to gracing the stages of Philly Sketch Fest, Bentwood Festival, and Out of Bounds.

She was selected to perform in the Just for Laughs character showcase at Out of Bounds in August 2019. She previously performed with the iO Harold teams Moms and Pangea, and with CSheC’s House Team fair dinkum. She also performs with the indie teams Baby Talk (2prov with Andy Ross) and Cocoon (2prov with John Randall).
