Biography

Tammy Arnold is known for her work on Mr. Mercedes (2017), Reprisal (2019) and The Red Road (2014).

Tammy has worked as a theatre and film actress for over 30 years. In that time she has appeared in numerous film and television projects. She also works as an acting and dialect coach to some of the finest talents in the film industry.

Ms. Arnold came to Wilmington, NC while filming the recurring character of Judith Temple in the CBS television series ‘American Gothic.’ She fell in love with the area and chose to make it her home. Her studio is based there and she has produced an educational DVD on the technique of script analysis entitled ‘Inside the Actor; Scoring the Role’ Ms. Arnold has acted with such greats as Renee Zellweger, Sam Waterson and Marlee Matlin as well as coached such Oscar winning actors as, Gena Rowland, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Ed Harris.

Ms. Arnold’s work as an actress can be seen in the Colin Firth film ’Arthur Newman, Golf Pro’ or in Hallmark Hall of Fame’s ‘A Smile As Big As The Moon’. She coached Queen Latifah in Joyful Noise, Rodrigo Santoro in ‘What to Expect When Your Expecting’ and Wilmington’s own Bill Ladd for his work with Meryle Streep in ‘Great Hope Springs’
