Yasmine Al-Bustami is an actress who was born in Abu Dhabi and raised in Texas (she loves brisket and queso and says y’all a lot). She is of Jordanian-Palestinian and Filipina descent.
You can currently catch Yasmine in John Legend’s music video for Surefire which, along with all the other nominees in the same category, won MTV’s 2017 VMA’s Best Fight Against the System. Also check her out as Sasha in CW Seed and New Form Digital’s original musical series I Ship It which just finished filming its second season and is her second collaboration with badass filmmaker, Yulin Kuang. (Fun fact: season one of the series won Best Drama at the 6th Annual Streamy Awards!) Previous appearances have been on The CW’s The Originals, CMT’s Nashville and Freeform’s Switched at Birth.
